Music and Learning
Many researches believe that people are born “wired” for
music just as we “wired” to learn a language. Although we
all have different preferences for styles of music, we would all agree
that certain music “triggers” various emotions and thoughts.
The images and emotions that arise when someone mentions romantic music
are different then those that arise when some mentions or plays music
from the genre of rock and roll. Chris Brewer in his book Music and
Learning (1995) says it best: “Music greatly affects and enhances
our learning and living!"
